The Three Stooges

August 14, 2023

The rumors are true. I'm in a gosh darn trio. The circumstances in which this came to pass are indeed ciudat(weird). Sora Godfrey, my dear beloved fiule in the mission had to leave in the middle of her training. We were all devastated and sobbing at the train station as we packed her things and hugged her goodbye. But I know she's going to do great things as a service missionary. She's got that fire in her and spirit of God burning bright. I'm happy for her!

Sora Watson, who was her companion, is now in our companionship and we've become a trio! Have you ever watched dumb and dumber? That's Sora Watson and I in a nutshell. Sora Griffin understandably remains senior companion. Our days are a comedy show which I why we've been called the three stooges. For those of you who know Sora Griffin is E. Lambert, Sora Watson is E. Johnson, and I've somehow gotten put as E. Jensen.

We've been busy combining our area books and setting up appointments with all of our friends. But we've got two potentially baptisms who need to pick a date. I'm SO excited for them! They are characters for sure and the branch already loves them so much.

Yesterday, we had a branch council and it was literally the craziest thing I've ever witnessed. I'll see if I can attach an audio. But the three women in our branch woke up and decided to be the literal Fates and laid their judgement upon Președintele Popovici. And Fratele Costi, the vice, didn't get anywhere trying to defend him. I love these women with all my heart, but I'm terrified of them. They were talking over eachother the entire time, nodding to eachother, laughing at their dominion and we were all just.. there.

With all the fun I've also been witness to some very tender mercies. After taking 4 six hour long trains to recieve my permis, we sat across a little boy and his grandpa. We decided to talk to them and it was a bit awkward to start speaking but eventually the little boy talked to me about his passion for weather storms. Before they left, we got a picture all together for them to show their family. After that I fell asleep and an elderly couple across the Isle, according to my comp, moved the curtain little by little evertime the sun was on my face. My family in Romania just keeps growing. Our mission President visited our branch and our friends got to know him and his wife. It was so great to watch EVERYONE be so involved. The members rushed to make lunch after church, our friends stayed to do a service project. We've had so many referrals and people asking to come to our church or for a message of hope. So many things. Oh yeah, it's all coming together.

Yes I wrote that in a Kronk voice.

Vă iubesc pe toți! Cu mare drag,

Sora Post
