20 prayers

July 3, 3023

Hi everyone!! Cum sunteți voi?

We've had a couple sleepovers with the sisters in our city and it's been so fun! We moved their bedframes into the living room to all chill together. I love the soras in my area, I have way to much fun with them.

We had an entire district discussion in British accents which was so funny but now we can't shake them off. I'm reading and writing this email with an English accent in case you didn't know.

We had our first mission conference and it was SO fun! There were cockroaches in the apartment which was a fun little surprise. We met President and Sora Fowler, our new Mission Presidents! And now my mission is no longer the Hungary/România mission, it's Bucharest România AHHH! I hope they send more missionaries with this change, the people here are ready!

I was reading in Alma and there is this interaction between Ammon and king Lamoni where he teaches the king about God. It's done in his own kingdom, in such simple words. It's an example to me for the way in which I teach others the message of Christ. In plain and simple words. And in their language, which is language I've been called to speak. I read this right after teaching a man in english who continued to twist our words in 20 different directions. I knew this chapter was an answer to the 20 prayers said in my heart during that lesson, to say the things He would have me say. Sometimes I can't believe how prompt and clear revelation can come. I love thinking about how the Lord "planted my feet on gospel sod" to teach in simple and powerful ways.

We were encouraged to open our mouths(speak) and I had quite the experience as I did so on our train home. It was with an older married couple, a single traveler and a young girl. The conversation was probably one of the most wholesome I've had since I've come to România. I think the other sisters and I will treasure it in our hearts forever.

Vă iubesc pe toți! Aveți o săptămână frumoasă!
