My Peace in Christ

 Hey guys! I hope everything is well with you all!

Man! Life is just beautiful and it's only getting better! Nature is blossoming, we've had such tender moments with friends, members and people we've met on the street. I'm seriously just smiling all the time! My cheeks hurt!!

I've loved making friends here in Sibiu and learning more about them each week. The missionaries in my area are so much fun and their dedication to this work is so inspiring. And our friends!! They have all come from many different backgrounds and their testimonies of Christ are just beautiful.

Something else I've been thinking about is a question I was asked a little while ago. It was "what does the resurection mean to you?" I felt like I had no words. I've thought so much about the sacrifice of Christ, but I never truly understood the miracle of His resurrection, and what it means to me to know that He lives. I honestly didn't realize that this was what Easter was all about until my mission. It was always just eggs and bunnies. But I thought about the question for a long time, and out of nowhere, I was asked again, and I realized that I've known for a very long time, that because the savior lives, I can live again. There is hope beyond our mortal existence. I know that I can have an eternal life with my family, and despite all the trials, if we keep striving to keep the covenants we've made with Him and to have a more Christ oriented life, our family will be blessed in Heaven. 

The knowledge that I can have an eternal family in Heaven gives me so much peace. I'm so grateful to have known this in my hardest moments. I'm so grateful for my Savior and I know that peace really can be found in Christ.
