Coffee Grinding
Hey guys! How are you all?
This week was wild. We had an exchange with our STL'S here in Sibiu lemme tell you it was something. Nothing like getting put into choke holds by Sora Ballard and coerced into playing in a water fountain. Our first night we played steam roller over our two beds and one of the sisters got stuck in-between them and so we just rolled over her like a bridge.
sometimes recounting these things make me ponder what I'm doing with my life.
Anyways, something we do as a mission is send in "SASIS" to a district group chat which is like a nightly check in to make sure we are all safe. All four of us sisters were vibing to James the Mormon and we decided to be original and send in a music video for SASIS and it was legendary!! I learned how to coffee grind that night
For our district activity we went to the rolling hills of Hunedoara and visited with a lady we are teaching, and her two older neighbors. All three ladies were so sweet. We broke branches for a whopping 7 minutes before they fed us an entire feast. Honestly though, I think the real service was just being there for those sweet ladies, and being able to support them emotionally.
The elders prepared the sacrament for them and the member, who can only watch our meetings on zoom, had tears in her eyes. It was such a blessing to able to witness a faith so beautiful, and see how sacred the sacrament really is.
We got transfers and the entire mission stayed the same except for we are losing a member of our gang! Super sad but I know God calls people where they are needed. Our last pday all together was so much fun. We visited a flower festival, got McDonalds (as you do in Romania), hiked all around Sibiu to get a Basketball hoop for our church, and then finished off bowling with the Craciuns!
I hope you guys all have a beautiful week! Keep in touch with me!
