Tags and Temple Recommends

 

Guys. I laugh way too hard every day for no good reason.

So this week the elders in my district decided they were "bishops" and so whenever someone says something inappropriate, even unintentionally, you just say "badge" and they have to give their tag to you.

During free time my comp plays hymns on piano and I sing, so yesterday we were doing our thing and the elderii were just chillin in the back, and then these elders from the Italian district walk in and listen to us. And they start interrogating us on what we can play, snipe the piano from us saying they will play one song, and play SO LOUD for the rest of the time. Este froate triste.

This silly kid in my district, Elder Hein, has been going through "Hustlers Academy" hosted by Stratov, Hitz and Swensen. This week he has been working on his chad face and I almost peed my pants from laughing so hard.

This week we led our class in a language study and it was SO much fun. My comp and I did such a good job. Our idea was to play games so it was fun and would give us an incentive to remember. We did hot potato and an elder suggested we have to sing a hymn if we lose and he regretted it so bad when he lost.

We taught a 30 minutes lesson for "Helping Others" and it went so well! I felt the spirit and I remembered so much when I normally don't. I really wanted to go foreign speaking and part of the reason I felt motivated to learn was to have another language under my belt. But after that appointment I felt like my only motivation to learn the language was to share His message, and to say the words He would say.

We have been studying and growing our testimony on the Book of Mormon. We listened to a talk by Elder Holland and he testified of the truth of it with such conviction. It inspired me to find the truths in it that resonate with me. I would invite you all to read the Book of Mormon this week and search for things that, without a doubt, you know to be true. And don't let that conviction waiver in the face of adversity.
